Subsidence Claims Handler

An exciting opportunity to join a Loss Adjusting company working within the Surveying team providing building claims solutions on a nationwide basis. They are now seeking an experienced desk-based subsidence claims technician to join their technical buildings repair team where you will provide technical support to a team of Surveyors and the Claims Management team.
Key responsibilities:
- To offer technical support to the surveyors and case management team in respect of managing variations in repair scopes
- Assessing contractor estimates
- Controlling repair schedules and costs from panel contractors
- Assist with the management of the field force surveyors and to handle a case load of desktop validation claims under delegated authority
About you:
- Experience of handling technical aspects of the subsidence buildings repair stage
- Buildings/Property claims handling experience with knowledge of scopes of works
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to manage own caseload and feel comfortable challenging decisions made
- Excellent IT/systems experience
- BDMA or relevant Industry qualification would be preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Desk-based Building Technician - Remote working - up to £30k per annum, 25 days holiday plus an excellent benefits package, company bonus scheme, training and career advancement.
