Eton Clarke is working with an Investment Bank, seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&A Associate with a focus on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. As an M&A Associate, you will be an integral part of our Corporate Finance team, driving high-profile transactions and providing strategic advice to leading companies in the rapidly evolving TMT landscape. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the execution of M&A transactions from inception to closing, including due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients in the TMT sector on potential M&A opportunities, including market analysis, target identification, and deal structuring.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses, including cash flow modeling, business valuations, and scenario planning to support transaction decisions.
  • Develop and present high-quality pitch books, marketing materials, and client presentations that effectively communicate deal opportunities and strategies.
  • Work closely with senior bankers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of transactions, maintaining strong communication and project management throughout the process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes within the TMT sector to provide up-to-date insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Mentor junior analysts, ensuring the accuracy and quality of their work, while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum 2:1 degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA) is desirable.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of M&A experience with a strong focus on the TMT sector. Demonstrated experience in executing complex transactions and providing strategic client advice.

 

Skills:

  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Additional European language skills are a plus.
