Does that sound like something you’d like to be part of?As a Compliance Coordinator you will support the Compliance Department in ensuring that our client meets its regulatory, legal, and governance obligations. This role is focused on delivering day to day monitoring and quality assurance activity, helping to identify risks, ensure controls are effective, and drive improvements across the business.Role responsibilitiesMonitoring & AssuranceCarry out thematic monitoring reviews, file checks, and QA testing in line with the monitoring and quality assurance framework.Document and escalate findings clearly, highlighting risks and recommending remedial actions.Support the tracking of open actions and assist in verifying closure of remedial work.Assist in preparing monitoring reports for the Compliance & Monitoring Manager.Make recommendations for enhancements to the monitoring framework as well as potential topics for future thematic reviews.Compliance SupportSupport colleagues with regulatory queries by providing accurate and timely information.Contribute to fraud prevention activities.Governance & ReportingContribute to MI reporting for internal stakeholders, collating data on monitoring activity and compliance performance.Ensure that monitoring documentation is maintained and up to date.Collaboration & DevelopmentWork closely with colleagues across the business to ensure understanding of compliance requirements.Take part in training and development opportunities to build knowledge of FCA regulations and assurance skills.Support team initiatives to embed a strong culture of compliance, transparency, and accountability.Key skills requiredPrevious experience in compliance, assurance or risk role within financial servicesGood working knowledge of FCA regulation, particularly Consumer Duty, CONC, SYSC and DISP.A-Level qualifications or higherProactive and inquisitive approach with a willingness to learnExcellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detailSo, why would you want to work here?They have a great working environment, and they are an ambitious business.
