We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead, recruit and educate our Kitchen team to deliver overwhelming service - every day, to every guest.

With full insight and knowledge of Boulebars products, direct costs, waste control, inventory and team costs you will create an environment with safety, good routines, happiness and consistent quality products.

We are happy and loving hosts, who are experts in greeting and caring for our guests. You will create an environment for your team to grow, deliver and be focused in the right areas at the right time. You will make sure that the venue operates according to Boulebar standards, with full insight and knowledge of our products, principles and service system.

You will work, with the other guild managers, as a team towards your venue targets; sales, number of guests, reviews, ENPS, NPS, and cost-%.

Our expectations:

  • You are an experienced Manager within hospitality
  • You are passionate about food and people
  • You understand HACCP rules and follow the routines for good hygiene at all times
  • You are highly organised when it comes to preparation, cost control and scheduling

Your tasks:

  • Build an in-depth knowledge of our menu, ingredients, product origins and allergens.
  • Work with our kitchen and restaurant teams to deliver quality presentation and service, at a reasonable pace.
  • Follow our Kitchen Book by heart.
  • Be present at your Boulebar by working actively in service.
  • Be responsible for kitchen purchasing and inventory, in line with the Venues targets.
  • Recruit, schedule and educate your kitchen team.
  • Coach your team while identifying their strengths and weaknesses through daily guidance, overall inspiration and development tasks/goals.
  • Arrange education for your guild members.
  • Be responsible for the restaurant environment including enforcing the laws of HACCP and fire safety.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with your management team and fellow Boulebar Kitchen Managers.
  • Be a team player - you help out It may happen that you get to help in other areas or functions of the business if there is a need.

We will provide you with:

  • Knowledge of our products and how to sell and serve.
  • A tried-and-tested toolbox with all the tools needed to succeed.
  • Detailed insight into how Boulebar works, our business principles, organisation, tools, brand and product.
  • An expert knowledge of (and passion for) pétanque.
