We have airport operations across Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and Edinburgh airports, four depot locations across the South plus two operating centres in East and West London with our Head office in Southampton.

Your opportunity

As a GSE refuelling technician you will join a team of GSE refuelers currently delivering a ground fuels (Diesel) service to ground services equipment, you will be supporting the effective and safe distribution of fuels and lubricants of both airside and landside operations to exceed Customer expectations through achieving both the maximum level of productivity and compliance.

SHIFT PATTERN: 46 hours, 4 on 4 off (11.5 hour) nightshifts (inclusive of minimum daily breaks)

 Role and responsibilities include:

With safety as the overall paramount consideration, you will ensure the following duties are completed:

• All vehicles as per schedule are located, levels checked and where required topped up with the Fuel.

• Manually record volumes dispensed, and vehicle id’s .

• Manage and update equipment refuelling schedule.

Skills and attributes required:

  • A clean Full UK driver’s license classes C & E
  • ADR licence for class 7 in tanks
  • Driver CPC
  • Driver Tacho card
  • Knowledge of fuels industry - Preferable
  • Good level of numerical and literacy skills. Ability to use IT based systems, MS Outlook or similar to input and extract data
  • Must have 5 years complete checkable work history
  • Knowledge and experience of working Airside in the critical area at any Large UK airport

What we offer you:

  • Basic of £29,530 per annum
  • Shift allowance at £2720 per annum
  • London Weighting £4200 per annum
  • 6% bonus (4% team and 2% individual) paid at 1% for quarters 1, 2 and 3 and 3% in Q4
  • 24 days holiday per annum inclusive of Bank holidays
