We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled General Sonographer to join our imaging team in Swansea. The successful candidate will deliver a wide range of high-quality ultrasound examinations supporting the diagnosis and management of patients across various clinical specialties.You will be working alongside radiologists consultants and other healthcare professionals in a supportive environment ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a broad range of general ultrasound scans including:AbdominalGynaecological & early pregnancySmall parts (e.g. thyroid testes soft tissue)Musculoskeletal (where competent)Obstetric imaging (if applicable)Provide clear accurate reports and escalate urgent findings appropriately.Deliver a safe compassionate and professional patient experience.Maintain excellent infection control safety and quality standards.Support the training and development of junior staff and students.Participate in audit clinical governance and service improvement activities.Qualifications & ExperienceCurrent HCPC registrationDemonstrable experience in general sonography (minimum 12 months post-qualification preferred).Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills.
