Job DescriptionService Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading Compressed Air ManufacturerThe Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the South and the surrounding areas. Full product training provided.The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors filtration pneumatics hydraulics pipework vacuum pumps vacuum systems blowers dryers valves rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment.Package (OTE 55K depending on experience)Company van25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pensionOvertimeTablet tools insurancePhoneAdditional benefitsService Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer RoleTo provide electrical and mechanical repair service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance provide advice diagnostics fault finding of compressed air systems vacuum pumps blowers & dryers nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.Maintain repair and install air compressors vacuum pumps blowers & dryers Valves and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across Nottingham and the surrounding Areas.Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements upgrades or general aftercare of compressor products.Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.Liaise with various engineering departments.Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer RequirementsProven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.Field servicing background in compressors filtration pneumatics hydraulics nitrogen generators pipework vacuum pumps vacuum systems Blowers Dryers pumps motors rotating equipment or capital equipment is advantageous. Training provided.A technical engineering degree or apprentice trained would be advantageous.Homebased willing to travel.
