Role:Production TechnicianContract:Outside IR35Location:Onsite / Hybrid depending on project needs OverviewA skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician is required to support the assembly and testing of electrical and computer-based components. This role is key to ensuring all products meet strict quality, safety and reliability standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test electrical and computer-based systems with precision and care.Maintain accurate production and assembly records; escalate technical issues quickly.Perform mechanical assembly tasks following strict quality and safety processes.Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and QA.Maintain a customer-focused approach in all production activities.Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of computer hardware components.Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and core applications.High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail in hands-on assembly work.Physically capable of handling the demands of an active production environment.Soldering experience toJ-STDstandard.Working awareness or certification inIPC-620standards.DesirableExperience in cable assembly, harnessing, and loom construction.Familiarity withIPC-610andIPC-620standards.Understanding of mechanical assembly techniques and associated standards.People Source Consulting Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
