Job Title: Program ManagerJob Code: 29202Job Location: Bristol PAJob Description:We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in production program management. The Program Manager is responsible for successful completion of assigned programs which includes management of all assigned resources to ensure contractual requirements are well defined universally understood and compliant to achieve program objectives. The program manager is responsible for overall program performance including meeting all delivery dates on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership communication and analytical skills.Essential Functions: Oversee and manage all aspects of programs from inception through completion - Primarily reoccurring effort production programs Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial forecasts tracking and reporting Communicate program status risks and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders Facilitate regular program reviews and provide updates to senior management Build and maintain strong relationships with customers suppliers and partners Provide support to Marketing and Proposals in the development of new business proposals by ensuring all programmatic elements are addressed and costed accurately Lead proposal efforts for follow-on business for programs/customers assigned Review all proposal materials drive completion of compliance matrices and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) prepare proposal documentation and chair proposal review with senior management Support Business Development functions in maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for assigned programs/customers Provide support as required during negotiations and provide a smooth transition from the proposal phase to the contract phase Prepare program plans for each assigned program to include (as a minimum) the overall program schedule detailed tasking budgets deliverables Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and resources and comply with the customer Statement of Work (SOW) to meet all program aspects and special ground rules Prepare bottoms up Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Estimates at Completion (EACs) on assigned programs Develop and monitor budgets forecasts and financial reports Drive program performance to achieve operational and financial targets to attain division goals Ensure contractual documents and any subsequent revisions are distributed and any changes clearly defined to the program team members Establish and maintain an interface with the customer for reporting program status preparing for and conducting all meetings with the customer such as Systems Requirements Review (SRR) Preliminary Design Review (PDR) Critical Design Review (CDR) Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) Proactively anticipate and manage potential risks and opportunities (R/O) to optimize program performance and to achieve or exceed business goals Lead the R/O management approach for the program develop the R/O action plan and manage it to a favorable outcomeQualifications: Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience; Or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience Must have the ability to obtain a Secret ClearancePreferred Additional Skills: Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related field is preferred A Masters degree or PMP certification is highly desirable Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint) MS Project experience is highly desirable Excellent leadership and project management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Prior experience managing recurring production programs highly preferred Experience in aerospace defense or manufacturing industries Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Strong financial acumen with experience managing a profit and loss on a program Familiarity with ERP systems and project management software Experience managing development programs or programs with significant non-recurring engineering (NRE) effort Experience with manufacturing of telemetry equipment and/or electronic components Active Security Clearance#LI-CG1Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Project Management Methodology,Project / Program Management,Program Management,Management Experience,Microsoft Powerpoint,Project Management,Microsoft Project,Budgeting,DoD Experience,Leadership Experience,Supervising Experience,Contracts Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
