Job Title: Senior Technical Architect – Financial ServicesLocation: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid, two days per week in office)Role Type: PermanentSalary: £95,000 to £120,000 plus benefits and annual bonusOverview:Our client is a major Financial Services organisation with a strong focus on modernising its technology landscape and delivering secure, scalable digital services across the business. They are looking to appoint a Senior Technical Architect to provide architectural leadership across several key platforms and support ongoing transformation initiatives within the Technology Department.This role will be responsible for shaping technical designs, defining architecture standards, and working closely with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet regulatory, security, and operational expectations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and documentation of technical architectures across multiple applications and platformsDefine and maintain architecture standards, principles, and governance processesCollaborate with Engineering, Product, and Security teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutionsEnsure designs adhere to regulatory, data protection, and cyber security obligationsProvide technical guidance across delivery teams and oversee solution implementationSupport long-term architectural planning, cloud migration strategies, and technology roadmap developmentEssential Skills and Experience:8 years or more of experience in architecture or senior engineering roles within Financial Services or similarly regulated environmentsStrong knowledge of cloud technologies, ideally Azure, and modern architecture patternsExperience with APIs, integration platforms, microservices, and enterprise-level applicationsGood understanding of security, risk, and compliance within regulated industriesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadershipProven ability to deliver complex technical solutions within multi-disciplinary project teamsIf you have strong experience with the skill set above, and the role looks like a suitable fit, and the role looks like a great fit, then please respond to this advert with an updated version of your CV, or feel free to contact me using the information available on my profile.Please note: All candidates must have full rights to work in the UK without any current or future requirements for sponsorship.Job Title: Senior Technical Architect – Financial ServicesLocation: London (Hybrid, two days per week in office)Role Type: PermanentSalary: £95,000 to £120,000 plus benefits and annual bonus
