We do this by placing patients at the heart of everything we do, striving to be the best at what we do and believe that our patients’ trust is earned through the delivery of clinical services to the highest standard.As Lead Nurse for Aesthetic and Injectables, based at our Canterbury clinic, you will apply your advanced knowledge and experience in dermatology and aesthetics to support, guide, and educate clinical staff across The Dermatology Partnership. Working closely with the Head of Nursing, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care at every stage of the patient journey—consultation, assessment, treatment, and evaluation—while identifying opportunities to enhance services. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background or keen interest in dermatology and aesthetics, seeking to expand their skills and grow within a supportive, innovative, and patient-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Plan and prepare for dermatology and aesthetic clinics, ensuring equipment, documentation, and staffing are in placeAssist dermatologists, surgeons, and aesthetic practitioners with procedures including minor surgery, biopsies, and skin treatmentsOrganise clinical staff rotas based on skills and availabilityConduct audits and embed compliance measures in collaboration with the Practice ManagerSupport and develop nurse-led follow-up services across dermatology and aestheticsProvide patient education and resources to support understanding and self-careDeliver nursing care including dressing techniques, suture removal, and patient support throughout their visitEducate patients on skin protection and home care for skin conditionsMaintain high standards in nurse-led clinics such as phototherapy, cryotherapy, acne, PRP, patch testing, minor surgery, and aesthetic treatmentsSupport the dermatology and aesthetics nursing team in developing protocols, guidelines, and care pathwaysStay up to date with best practices and proactively implement improvements across dermatology and aestheticsAdvise senior staff on issues affecting dermatology and aesthetic careWork autonomously using evidence-based practice in collaboration with specialist cliniciansContribute to in-house training and competency assessments for nursing staff in both dermatology and aestheticsDrive standards to meet and exceed CQC regulationsKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:Registered Nurse with NMC registrationV300 independent prescribing qualification is essentialMinimum 3 years of nursing experience, ideally with team leadership exposureExperience managing a caseload and delivering nurse-led clinicsStrong communication, organisational, and clinical decision-making skillsConfident in audit participation, protocol development, and health promotionComputer literate and comfortable with clinical systems and documentationTeaching qualification or equivalent experience is desirableBenefits:Competitive London salaryPerkbox rewards, discounted shopping and celebrationsEmployee Assistance Programme – access to wellbeing and free counselling servicesOngoing training and professional development throughout your career at TDP25 days of annual leave entitlement in addition to public holidaysContribution to the company pension scheme (differs by practice)Employee discounts for dermatology/aesthetic treatments and skin care productsWhy The Dermatology Partnership?We are dedicated to delivering expert medical, surgical, and aesthetic skincare, guiding each patient through their unique journey.
