Job DescriptionJob Purpose:
The Global Program Manager PMO Launch will lead the DP World Fulfilment program across all regions. The key objective of this role is to oversee and manage all aspects of the DP World Fulfilment Launch initiative.
This global role encompasses strategic planning, project management, and coordination of cross-regional teams to ensure the successful execution of the DP World Fulfilment program. You will manage the implementation of multiple DP World Fulfillment site launches, monitor project progress, deliverables, and quality assurance, utilizing the Global Contract Logistics launch governance and supporting project management tools. Additionally, you will report status updates to executive teams and identify and resolve risks that could impact project/program completion.
The role requires you to manage time and budget, take initiative to identify and resolve problems, and ensure goals are met. You will coordinate planning, development, testing, documentation, and installation of projects to ensure timely deliverables, program success, and quality.
Developing strong working relationships with regional and site leadership is crucial, as it ensures excellent two-way communication, clearly outlining Global Logistics needs and identifying risks that require executive input. A strong regional relationship will ensure that both parties are focused on achieving success together.
Key Accountabilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for the DP World Fulfilment site launches across all regions.
- Ensure that project timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed to meet program goals.
- Coordinate with regional and site teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of project tasks.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-regional and cross-functional teams, including regional PMO groups, to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between different departments to ensure a seamless project launch.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to keep them informed of project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines or outcomes.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Regularly monitor project risks and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets to ensure that all financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee the allocation of resources across multiple projects, ensuring that all teams have the support they need to succeed.
- Provide regular updates on budget status to the executive team and recommend adjustments as needed.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track project performance against key metrics, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to the executive team, highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Use data and insights from project performance to inform future project planning and execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and tools within the Global Program PMO.
- Lead initiatives to standardise and optimise project management practices across regions, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Share best practices and lessons learned with the broader project management community within DP World.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure all project activities are conducted in accordance with DP World’s governance policies and procedures.
- Oversee the adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all regions where projects are implemented.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in program management, project management, operations management, and new business launch.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or automotive industries preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of various project & launch management roles (Site, Pre-Award/Solutions, Launch Team Management, Team Development).

- Proven capability in leadership and guidance to delivery teams across the organisation.
- Expertise in developing operations launch project plans and ensuring process linkage with other functions.
- Expert-level knowledge of project and change management methodologies, techniques, and processes (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology - PPM).
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment and in both hierarchical and matrix organisations to engage personnel from different business units and backgrounds to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve ambiguity and uncertainty, creating clear, directed plans of action.
