Second largest manufacturer in the UK in their sector holding a third of the market. The company has a huge turnover nationally in excess of £300 million with 17 sites across the UK. The business is now looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support the permanent maintenance team and to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum whilst maintaining the productivity of a variety of equipment. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following:

  • You will be part of a maintenance team which will be tasked to keep production up and running.
  • You will be involved with reactive maintenance and 10 percent will be getting involved in some projects and helping to establish and completing a PPM schedule.
  • You will be working on overhead cranes, Robotics, Mixing and Curing Machinery, Conveyor systems, Kilns etc.

The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.
