London, United Kingdom Harmony Energy Full time

About Harmony Energy

Harmony Energy Ltd (the “Company”) is one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing owners and operators of utility-scale battery energy storage projects – as well as being active in the solar and onshore wind sectors. We see ourselves as being a fundamental part of the transition to net zero both in the UK and throughout Europe.

In addition to having over 500MW’s of operational battery energy storage projects, the Company controls a multi-gigawatt pipeline of projects and employs an in-house team of development, delivery/construction and asset management experts. Harmony Energy Income Trust Plc (“HEIT plc”) was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2021, providing access to a significant amount of capital to vastly accelerate the build-out of our pipeline. HEIT plc is managed by a subsidiary of Harmony Energy Ltd and is governed by an independent board of non-executive directors.

The Company is headquartered in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, with offices in London and Darlington. We also have development teams in France, Poland, Germany and New Zealand and continue to investigate opportunities in other territories.

These new elements of the business have driven significant growth of the business and a requirement for rapid expansion of the team.

About the role

The Graduate Project Manager will support the operational side of the business, working within procurement, construction, asset management and ESG.

This will involve assisting Harmony’s delivery business in the management of our battery projects, from the start of procurement, through the construction phase and into operations.

Within procurement and construction, you will work to support the team in activities such as: due diligence of new projects, identifying actions and closing them out, managing suppliers and contractors, review of technical documentation and drafting contractual documentation, while supporting the construction of battery projects across the UK.

Within asset management, your main responsibility will cover technical monitoring of projects, and day to day management of O&M activities across Harmony’s portfolio. You will also to be expected to provide support to the wider London-based team, specifically to our Head of Sustainability.

The position requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can manage competing priorities and communicate fluently in a fast-paced and high performing team environment. Being able to work proactively, use initiative and remain diligent and organised is an essential part of the job. The role would be of interest to those that want the challenge and responsibility of contributing towards the successes of a rapidly growing and ambitious company, with the support of an experienced professional team to develop existing skills and grow knowledge of the energy sector.
