Our client is a well-known and established London Residential development business specialising in the construction of high-spec projects across London.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager who ideally has a background in Civil Engineering / RC Frame.

Reporting to the on-site Project Manager, you will assist in the smooth delivery of this 289 unit scheme in North West London.

Project information:

  • 289 units across 3 x blocks
  • RC Frame blocks ranging from 7 to 12 Storey.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction of a development, including all associated pre-commencement works, ensuring that targets are met regarding health and safety, delivery to build programme quality, customer care, and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance on site.
  • Coordinating labour and resources on site.
  • Managing material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock.
  • Ensuring that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality.
  • Undertaking company-directed quality control procedures and inspections.
  • Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate.
  • Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector.
  • Carrying out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings.
  • Liaising proactively with other internal departments, external suppliers, and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved.
  • Delivering a high standard of site presentation at all times.

Suitable candidates must have:

  • 3-5 years as a Senior Site Manager.
  • Civil Engineering background.
  • Residential Contracting experience.
  • Stable career history.
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Scaffold Inspection, etc.
  • RC Frame experience.
