Mental Health Support Assistant | Job Summary
- Full-time term time only Mental Health Support Assistant Role | Long term contract until July 2025
- Work alongside qualified SEMH professionals, Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists
- Role Paying £420-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology-related degree from a Top 20 University
- Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH is essential
Mental Health Support Assistant | Job Role
- Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis in the classroom or in intervention sessions
- Highly rewarding role making a meaningful impact on children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties needs
- Supporting and comforting Student with Anxiety and/or Depression, ASC and Autism
- Ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment, using a composed approach to de-escalate situations and assisting in their learning and development.
