We are seeking a talented individual to become a key part of our expanding Dispute Resolution Department. This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own caseload while benefiting from the support of an experienced, collaborative team.As a Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution department, you will handle a varied caseload of commercial disputes, representing clients in courts across Scotland. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing clear guidance, managing complex legal issues, and advocating for clients in hearings, mediations, and tribunals.You will work alongside a supportive team of Partners, Senior Solicitors, and Trainee Solicitors, as well as dedicated legal support staff. This role provides the opportunity for professional growth and career development, including the potential for promotion.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in contentious matters, including hearings in the Sheriff Courts and the Court of SessionProvide advocacy in tribunals, arbitrations, and mediationsDraft pleadings, take statements, prepare cases for proofs/debates, and instruct expert witnessesActively contribute to business development opportunitiesCollaborate with team members to manage caseloads efficientlyLiaise with experts and instruct Counsel as requiredSupport Partners in driving forward business initiativesWho We’re Looking For:Practising Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in dispute resolution or commercial litigationStrong technical knowledge and excellent advocacy skillsExceptional communication, organisational, and client management abilitiesProactive, responsive, and able to work independentlyPositive, flexible, and collaborative team playerAbility to engage with clients and colleagues at all levelsTo apply for this role, please send your CV or contact Emma Pringle at Iconic Resourcing for a confidential chat and further details.
