Upload Planner Assistant

Leading online luxury retailer requires an Upload Planner Assistant to join their team for approximately 3 months.

Responsibilities:

Curate & support the upload of new stock onto the website delivering on brand and buying vision

Work with Upload, Studio, Buying, Merchandising, Marketing & Editorial departments to ensure a smooth weekly process

Utilize reports and tools available to curate uploads that meet the criteria to achieve the best variety in offering to the customer, satisfies the business’ financial needs and enhances visual merchandising output

Support prioritization of newly bought-in product throughout the digitalization process

Check all products are satisfactorily represented and completed by all departments for the weekly uploads

Anticipate the needs and wants of the customer and present new and returning brands in an aesthetically pleasing and seasonally appropriate manner

Attend regularly occurring trade, sales, retail and calendar meetings to advise on previous uploads and future upload plans

Quick and efficient resolution of errors in product information in all systems

Maintain and develop excellent relationships with other teams within the business

Skills and experience:

Genuine interest in luxury fashion and trends, constantly seeking out relevant market information

Strong numerical and analytical skills, ideally gained in a retail merchandising environment

Advanced computer literacy skills, including MS Excel

Excellent communication skills and someone who genuinely enjoys working with others and responds to queries in a timely fashion

Degree-educated or equivalent experience gained in the Retail industry with E-commerce preferred and/or exposure to Merchandising, Buying and Inbound warehouse functions

Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions to improve website and streamline internal workflow

Ability to think independently and effectively prioritize outstanding tasks
