Inizio Engage are working on behalf of their client who are recruiting for a Project & Events Co-ordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated individual who has high level experience of organising events on a small and large scale and also thrives at working within a small team, but a dynamic and very fast-paced organisation with large-scale growth plans.

Projects & Events Co-ordinator

Day to Day responsibilities will include:

  • Event organisation and management from start to finish;
  • End to end ownership of all events that can range from a small event to a large-scale event;
  • Booking events, negotiating costings of events;
  • Undertake effective evaluation and review of event management
  • Timely communication of events to staff and all event attendees
  • Lead capturing of events
  • Organising Merchandise and couriers for timely delivery and meeting strict deadlines
  • Accountable for post event email marketing
  • Setting up event information onto Excel spreadsheets
  • Copy writing
  • Types of events will be exhibitions, regional, networking events and webinars
  • Whilst this role will be 75% events biased, this role will also include other generalist marketing duties such as e-shots, newsletters and partner relationships

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

  • Event Management absolutely essential, having organised events from start to finish both small and large scale
  • Deliver on tight deadlines, ensuring everything around the event runs smoothly
  • Highly organised, ensuring all couriers are set up to deliver equipment and merchandise in a timely fashion
  • Highly competent communication skills, gaining buy-in from internal colleagues to ensure expectations around attendees of the event are met
  • A strong handle of working towards strict deadlines and not being phased by a very fast-paced environment
