Information Security Officer, Farnborough, COR5728

Join our esteemed client, a leading technology company in Farnborough. As an Information Security Officer, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's sensitive information and collaborating with top talent to maintain a secure environment.

The ideal Information Security Officer will work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. 

The Company

Our client, recognized as an industry leader, offers an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Officer to lead the implementation and enforcement of security measures across the organization. You'll contribute to ensuring ISO27001 compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of security awareness, with ample opportunities for career progression.

The Role

As the Information Security Officer, you'll be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintainance of information security policies, standards and procedures. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll conduct risk assessments, identify security vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats. 

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience in information security management roles

- Strong understanding of ISO27001.

- Experience with security assessment tools and techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
