Interim Finance Analyst/Management Accountant - Global B2C Business


Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Analyst/Management Accountant to join a Global B2C Business located in Bristol on a 12-month Contract paying £300 - £350 per day (depending on experience) inside of IR35. This role offers a hybrid working model with 1-2 working in their offices - Bristol.


Responsibilities:

  • Month-end duties - including serving as the central source for month-end reporting, including accruals, prepayment, fixed assets etc.
  • Extracting data from different sources/entities, imputing and review.
  • Prepare monthly journals for reporting and controller purposes.
  • Tidy, clean up current processes and documenting.
  • Review contractor cost centre coding from the Financial Service Support team.
  • Complete forms for cost centres.
  • Generate journals to recharge internal resources to projects.
  • Provide monthly reports to PMO and EPMO teams, including necessary actions such as journals.
  • Update and maintain the systemised approval matrix with the Central Support Functions team.
  • Reconcile and track charges to the provision, addressing queries as needed.
  • Handle internal/external audit queries with the Central Support Functions team.
  • Participate in meetings/calls with the CSF team regarding month-end, budget, and forecasts.
  • Upload taxonomies to the Global IT file and reconcile them to the controller.
  • Ad-hoc reporting tasks.


To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience managing month-end reporting.
  • Strong analytical and data extraction skills.
  • Experience in a large global and highly matrixed company desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate with international teams.
  • Able to challenge, resilient and reliable.
  • Proficient in using various systems: SAP and Excel are essential (Power BI is highly desirable).
