Scaffold Yard Manager

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Manager to join our team in Barnsley. This crucial role involves maintaining the organization and efficiency of our yard, ensuring that all scaffolding materials and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and ready for deployment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the scaffolding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organize and manage the yard, ensuring all scaffolding materials and equipment are stored safely and correctly.

- Inspect and maintain scaffolding equipment, identifying and reporting any damage or wear.

- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles, maintaining accurate inventory records.

- Prepare and dispatch materials for scaffolding projects in a timely manner.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

- Perform general yard duties to support overall operations.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the scaffolding industry.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment (certifications preferred).
