Our esteemed client, a leading hedge fund on a global scale, is currently in search of a Software Engineer with a specialisation in Machine Learning Infrastructure for their London office. This offers an enticing opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, focusing on the design and development of frameworks for machine learning and tools for data science.


This position is ideal for an engineer with a background in deploying machine learning models into real-world applications, rather than concentrating solely on model training. This role necessitates substantial proficiency in Kubernetes along with a strong command of Python.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the development of large-scale distributed systems.
  • Construct a framework for deploying pre-trained machine learning models into production.
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the organisation to understand challenges, gather requirements, and document findings.
  • Develop and sustain scalable backend applications using Python for production use.


Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years as a Software Engineer, with a track record of deploying ML models into production.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in core technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with distributed systems.
