Job DescriptionSenior Systems EngineerLocation: Enfield North LondonSalary: Up to 65000Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking for a role where your expertise will directly shape the design and integration of advanced technology solutions This opportunity offers the chance to work on complex high-performance systems that operate in demanding real-world environments.Youll play a key role in developing and delivering cutting-edge engineering projects - from concept through to delivery - with the freedom to apply your knowledge across a range of disciplines including software mechanical and electrical engineering.The OpportunityAs a Senior Systems Engineer youll take ownership of full lifecycle systems activities - defining requirements integrating subsystems validating performance and ensuring robust delivery. Youll work alongside multi-disciplinary teams contributing to both technical excellence and project outcomes with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and influence design decisions.This is a hands-on technically rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and seeing their designs through to successful implementation.What Youll BringProven experience in systems design integration and testing across multi-technology environmentsA strong understanding of engineering lifecycles from concept to in-service supportBroad technical awareness across software mechanical and electrical disciplinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple projectsExcellent communication skills and confidence engaging with internal teams and customersDegree-qualified in Engineering Physics or a related discipline or equivalent practical experienceUK driving licence and eligibility to obtain UK Security ClearanceDesirable ExperienceExposure to Radar Radio or Navigation SystemsKnowledge of Defence or Maritime platformsFamiliarity with communication protocols (RS232 RS485 TCP/IP CANBus)Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes multimeters or spectrum analysersUnderstanding of verification standards (MIL-STD Def Stan IEC)Why This RoleThis position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of complex systems engineering where your work will have a tangible impact on real-world applications.
