Aluminium Casting Foundry - Immediate StartOur client are part of one of the UKs biggest Engineering Companies they produce aluminium castings for various industries and are recruiting for the followingFurnace Operator / Forklift Driver (Licence for Counterbalance Essential) * Location Wednesbury * AM Shift - 05.30 pm - 14.45 pm Monday to Thursday * Duration of assignment - TEMP TO PERM (12 WEEK TRIAL PERIOD)Main Duties:The duties of a metal furnace operator include, but are not limited to: * Monitoring equipment to ensure that it is in good working order and that production goals are being met * Monitoring furnace operations to make sure that temperatures are within safe limits and adjusting controls as needed * Monitoring the quality of raw materials entering the furnace to ensure they meet standards for chemical composition and physical properties such as density and particle size distribution * Maintaining records of all heating cycles performed, including temperature and time settings, to ensure accurate data is available for future reference * Performing regular maintenance on furnaces or other equipment used in the production process to ensure that they continue to operate efficiently * Monitoring the amount of raw material entering the furnace to ensure that it does not exceed the maximum capacity level set by the manufacturer * Monitoring the amount of finished product exiting the furnace to ensure that it does not exceed the maximum capacity level set by the manufacturer * Observing the furnace during operation to ensure that it is operating properly and safely * Transfer of molten metal to the casting section using a counterbalance forklift truckApplicationPlease forward an up to date CV for consideration
