AKS Engineer / Azure Kubernetes Services

Outside IR35 Contract

£475-500 per day

Fully Remote (UK based)

Initial 9 Month Contract plus extensions into 2025

Unify are proud to be exclusively representing a global utilities brand who are looking to secure the services of a highly experienced Azure Engineer / AKS Engineer on a contract basis initially until the end of 2024. This is a long term programme which is likely to extend into 2025.

Essential skills / experience:

  • A well rounded knowledge of Azure and well as excellent knowledge of AKS - Azure Kubernetes Services
  • Very good understanding of managing a shared AKS infrastructure including Kubernetes networking, Kubernetes RBAC, namespace isolation, Azure policies and GitOps in conjunction with AKS and AKS persistence solutions
  • Very good knowledge of containerization
  • Good overall knowledge of the Azure cloud platform
  • Familiar with modern software engineering methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, understanding tools such as Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub Actions
  • Proficient in the utilization of source control management tooling such as Git
  • Experience of leading a team/project
