Job Description:

Venatu Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Wood Machinists and Bench Hand Joiners to join our client's team in Halifax. If you have a minimum of Level 2 experience in joinery and wood machining, we would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate woodworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently
  • Perform precise measurements and cuts according to specifications
  • Assemble wooden components to create finished products
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in joinery or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Wood Machinist and/or Bench Hand Joiner
  • Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety
