Be part of a group that values innovation partnership and continuous improvement.As a Valuation Control Senior Associate/ Vice President in the Valuation Control Group you execute price verification and partner with teams to resolve valuation issues. You help us maintain robust controls and ensure consistency across our business lines. You will have the opportunity to work with senior management regulators and audit teams. Together we drive transparency and accuracy in our financial processes.Job responsibilitiesExecute price verification/benchmark process including the calculation of fair value adjustmentsAssist with various Valuation Control Group (VCG) established practices and control initiatives as well as perform necessary work relating to management reporting regulatory mandates and consistency within the broader VCG frameworkPartner with various functional groups on valuation related issues and develop/implement appropriate measures with the goal of ensuring fair valueEnhance existing control framework including reviewing independent pricing processes assessing potential coverage developments and implementing new tools to enhance control efficiencyCoordinate value-added projects related to Business Risk and Finance initiativesRequired qualifications capabilities and skillsExtensive hands-on experience in valuation control/ product control/ market risk/ credit riskUnderstanding of interest rate derivatives productsUnderstanding of valuation concepts as they pertain to financial products and derivatives basic accounting knowledgeAbility to understand complex products and analyze transaction and process flowsAnalytical and quantitative aptitudeStrong verbal and written communications skills to be able to communicate with senior stakeholdersExperience with Advanced ExcelAbility to prioritize multiple tasks efficientlyPreferredqualifications capabilities and skillsPowerPoint Visual Basic automation and database skillsRequired Experience:Exec Key Skills Accomodation,Access Control,Brand Marketing,Environmental Science,Import,Client Services Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Finance Experience: years Vacancy: 1
