Embedded Software Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Location: Sedgefield or Manchester

Salary: (£55k - £65k)


Role overview:

A leading company is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join its team and work on innovative products from conception to volume production. This role involves designing and developing embedded software for complex RF systems, contributing to both new systems and improvements in existing products. The ideal candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team, handling system management, control, and calibration functions.


Embedded Software Engineer Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the Embedded Software specialist within a multidisciplinary team.

- Define and document embedded software requirements.

- Identify areas for improvement in embedded systems and lead enhancement efforts.


Embedded Software Engineer Requirements:

- Experience with bare-metal applications and bootloaders.

- Familiarity with platforms like STM32F, MSP430, PIC, and embedded Linux.

- Skills in digital communication protocols (I2C, SPI, Ethernet)
