Trade Plate Driver

Join our expanding company todayWe are looking for another 15 drivers to join our team here at MVT Logistics.In this role you will be joining our ever growing delivery company collecting, delivering and inspecting a wide array of vehicles from cars and vans to ambulances. There are also positions available for Single Car Transporter drivers.As a driver you will have;A general good knowledge of the uk roads is beneficial for this role but not a necessity.A general understanding or health and safety is a priorityA good knowledge of driving longer and larger vehicles is a priorityA well mannered and professional attitude is expected in the presence of customers at collection and delivery pointsA keen eye to spot damages such as scratches, chips and any other defects on a vehicleThe ability to forward plan and maintain good communication with other drivers and customer in regards to estimated times of arrival to your jobs.Be able to start work between 4 and 6.30am in the morning at one of 2 depots based in Stoke on Trent and Newcastle under LymeDrivers will be expected to drive in a sensible and professional manner and collect and deliver vehicles from a range of places such as dealerships, compounds and customer handovers at private addresses.Fully paid training will be given on the jobWhat we require: a well presented team player with a good understanding of uk roads with good time keeping skills and a determination to hit delivery times and delivery slots.What you will receive:Full trainingUniform (when training complete )Flexible hours /daysFlexible weekend work (if wanted )Dedicated transport team to help with your day to avoid delaysConsistent workNo special licence neededThis role is on a self employed basis and we have immediate starts available for successful applicants
