We are hiring a Microbiology Manager for a leading biopharmaceutical company to lead their QC Microbiology team of 15+. You will drive regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within a cGMP environment, ensuring reliable delivery of microbiological testing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the QC Microbiology team, managing workloads, training, and performance.Plan and coordinate lab schedules, resources, and projects to ensure efficient operations.Oversee investigations into OOS, OOT, OOE results, quality events, and change controls.Provide technical expertise in microbiological methods and support regulatory submissions and inspections.Maintain validated microbiological methods, monitor KPIs, and support audits to ensure GMP and EHS compliance.Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceHands-on experience in a cGMP-regulated microbiology lab (pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical).In-depth knowledge of microbiological testing methods, including sterility, EM, endotoxin, and bioburden.Proven experience managing and developing laboratory teams.Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills in a regulated environment.
