Wiring TechnicianLocation: Slough, BerkshireSalary: £Depending on Experience + benefitsFull Time/PermanentAre you a skilled 'Wiring Technician' looking for an exciting opportunity in Slough? We are currently seeking a 'Wiring Technician' to join our clients growing team in the Technical Department.Reporting to the Support Warehouse Manager, this 'Wiring Technician' role will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing power and data cables.'Wiring Technician' Key Responsibilities:Identify and troubleshoot issues on various electrical and data cables, including single and three-phase cabling, DMX, and Ethercon.Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs on cables with precision and professionalism.Perform wiring, soldering, cable stripping, assembly, and termination of connections for power and data cables.Prepare equipment for external repair, including tracking via RT Pro jobs.Conduct comprehensive testing (including PAT) on completed repairs before returning them to stock.Maintain accurate records using the RT pro stock control system.Document repair measures and advise on pricing accuracy.'Wiring Technician' Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:Qualifications or previous experience in electrical repairs.Strong knowledge of electrical and/or electronic theory.Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.Ability to build strong working relationships.Interpretation of technical drawings is desirable.Valid, clean UK driving licence and willingness to drive when necessary.Familiarity with health and safety regulations.For immediate consideration, please apply today
