Contract Type: Temporary Initially, with the Potential for Permanent Placement

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Full Teacher Responsibilities)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of Science for a temporary position at a school in Milton Keynes. This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking, with the potential to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across various year groups.
  • Take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and marking.
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, candidates will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and engage students in their learning.
  • Commitment to contributing to the school community and upholding high standards of education.
