What We Are Looking For

To support our strategic clients within this critical sector, we are looking to appoint a Senior Reliability Engineer initially focused on nuclear-related applications. In particular, the successful candidate will be embedded within a dedicated team, managed by Wilde Analysis, for a national project currently at concept phase. More details can be provided at interview stage.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Relevant degree in an engineering, science or mathematics discipline or similar.
  • A minimum of 4 years knowledge & experience in a range of reliability techniques, such as:
  • Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
  • Failure Reporting Analysis Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS)
  • Reliability Block Diagrams
  • Failure Rate and MTBF Calculations
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly and convincingly to technical and non-technical audiences at a senior level.
  • Ability to:
  • Manage projects, including other staff as required, to deliver on-time in accordance with our quality management system.
  • Manage data across teams, to ensure that the most up to date information is available and utilised.
  • Identify, engage and manage stakeholders across a range of project functions.
  • A Systems Engineering mindset, able to identify and model physical and organizational factors influencing reliability and safety of products and processes.
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and with the drive to achieve objectives.
  • Confident, flexible and inclusive team-player who can solve problems with initiative.


Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Use of commercial reliability engineering and/or mathematical software.
  • Scoping project requirements and developing proposals.
  • Application of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Life Data Analysis (Weibull).
  • Design of Experiments.
  • Asset Management, Environmental Testing, Functional Safety and/or Cybersecurity.


Due to the nature of the project work, you will need to be a British National and be able to achieve the necessary security clearances.
