Business Development Manager – 3PL (Logistics)

Coventry Area – Hybrid/Field Based – Up to £40,000 base + £9k car allowance

Pod are pleased to partner with this growing logistics business that focusses on FMCG and Retail clients with depots across the UK. The company is growing 10-20% YoY and there is a huge focus on commercial development.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform Account Management duties such as performance reviews and reporting, using data centric mindset and reporting to collaborate to improve relationships and resolve challenges in this customer facing role.
  • Identify new business opportunities and growth areas in your account portfolio with a growth centric mindset delivering strategic plans in collaboration with senior leadership to grow the revenue.
  • Keep up to date with competitors and trends in the industry to deliver strong business development insights for the commercial teams.

Who you’ll be:

  • 5+ years in a Business Development or Account Management role with evidence of growth and development.
  • Advance excel with knowledge and use of a CRM with ERP knowledge and PowerBI as nice to haves.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a growth mindset and a desire to increase revenue and grow relationships.
