Their project successes are a testament to their dedicated team and valued clients, building infrastructure that serves communities today and for future generations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-contract processes, ensuring seamless collaboration with Joint Venture (JV) partners.
- Formulate and execute strategies for successful contract negotiations and partnerships.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Commercial function, ensuring the success of various projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for escalating and resolving commercial issues.
- Guide and develop the growing Commercial team.
- Promote a culture of consistency, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Utilise exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Apply expertise in commercial law to manage contracts, mitigate risks, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Play a key role in the leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions and driving organisational growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Director, preferably within the Rail, Building, or Infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued up to $100 million.
- Strong understanding of pre-construction processes, JV partnerships, and commercial delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial law and its application in large-scale projects.
- Exceptional team management skills, with a history of fostering consistency and leading high-performing teams.
