Operations Manager - Manufacturing - £65kAn established and growing manufacturing organisation is seeking an experiencedOperations Managerto take ownership of its production and operational functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, cost control, and timely delivery across all operations. You'll lead a small team, driving operational performance through strong leadership, continuous improvement, and a focus on health, safety, and quality. This role would suit a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in manufacturing operations who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage production and planning activities to meet business goals.Own operational KPIs and report performance to senior leadership.Champion5Sand continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning.Ensure compliance withISO 9001 ,ISO 14001 ,ISO 45001 , andEN 9100standards.Collaborate with sales and other departments to align operational capacity with customer demand.Manage budgets, control costs, and maintain operational excellence.Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to your team to foster engagement and accountability.About YouProven experience managing operations in amanufacturing environment .Strong understanding oflean manufacturing principles , 5S, and process improvement tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Commercially aware, with sound financial and analytical acumen.Proficient inERP systemsand Microsoft Office applications.Desirable: Qualifications or formal training in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.Experience in small-to-medium manufacturing environments.Familiarity withSAPThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking professional to make a measurable impact and shape the future of a growing manufacturing business.
