This specialist crime firm in West London is looking to recruit a Duty Solicitor in to its well-established criminal team.

Due to the team’s ongoing development, the firm is looking for a Duty Solicitor to join and help build the team at its West London office.

The firm handles all manner of crime cases from general and serious crime matters such as:

  • Motoring offences
  • Assault
  • Murder
  • Fraud
  • Money laundering 

Your responsibilities as a Duty Solicitor will involve:

  • Management of a busy caseload with a primary focus on advocacy work, attending police stations and Magistrates' Courts, advising and representing clients
  • Out of hours work (duty rota)
  • Preparing cases of varying levels of severity for trial 

The ideal Duty Solicitor for this position will:

  • Be a UK qualified solicitor
  • Have a background in criminal law
  • Be duty accredited (if you are a solicitor without the duty accreditation but willing to get accredited, then you are encouraged to apply)
