An experienced Acoustics Engineer with strong industrial experience relating to ultrasonic transducer technology will conduct simulation and experimental testing of the electrical, acoustic and mechanical behaviours of ultrasonic sensor technology.An opportunity to work in the renewable energy sector, with great benefits to include a non-contributory pension, private Healthcare, 24 days holiday (rising to 25 after one year), flexitime, and the option to either have one day a week WFH or 3 days extra holiday.With a strong academic background to include a minimum of a MSc in Acoustics, Electronics or Instrumentation (relevant PhD highly beneficial), the successful Transducer / Acoustics Engineer will bring experience in some of the following: * Ultrasonic transducer technology. * Multiphysics FEA simulation (COMSOL & ANSYS). * Piezoelectric component level design. * Electro-acoustics. * Sensor technology.Our Client is a thriving Technology Company with a top class Engineering Team.
