An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Controller to join Volkswagen Coventry Commercial Vehicles. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, either 7am to 5pm or 8am to 6pm. Some cover on Saturdays may also be required as and when. Benefits include the use of a company vehicle and an OTE of £44,000. The Workshop Controller is responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in the workshop, liaising between Service Advisors and Technicians, ensuring that all required work is actioned effectively and efficiently. Description Managing the workflow of all jobs to brand standard. Manage a team of Technicians ensuring workflow through the workshop is done in an efficient and effective manner. Provide focused management to the service department team, to ensure an excellent customer experience. Ensure processes are always adhered to. Conduct regular process reviews with your Aftersales Manager to identify operational issues / discrepancies and ensure appropriate follow up actions are taken to rectify.
