Lead Test Engineer Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with expertise AWS and Python. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software solutions through the development and execution of automated test scripts.


Lead Test Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated test scripts using Amazon tech stack tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with Python
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design test cases that cover all functional and non-functional aspects.
  • Execute and maintain automated test suites to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our software applications.
  • Identify, track, and report defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement corrective actions to improve the overall quality of our software.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize the automation testing framework and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective test coverage and participate in agile development practices.


Lead Test Engineer Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong experience as an Automation Test Engineer, with a focus on Amazon tech stack.
  • NHS and/or public sector work experience is a major advantage
  • Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
