We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.The below job description will outline this position of: Welder / FabricatorTypically, this person will be responsible for carrying out high-quality fabrication and welding work on marine vessels and associated structures, supporting production, ship repair, refit and new-build projects at Mainstay Marine.HSB Technical's client is an established and well-regarded business entity.Duties and Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator: Fabricate and weld marine structures, components, and assemblies to technical drawings Carry out MIG, TIG and MMA welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium where required Work on vessels in build, refit, and repair stages within the shipyard Cutting, burning, grinding, forming and fitting steel sections and plate Assist with pipework fabrication and installation as required
