Employee Relations Advisor

The Curve Group has an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Advisor to join the HR Outsourcing (HRO) team based at its Hinton (near Brackley) site. This is a varied and challenging role which primarily will be supporting our HRO and on demand clients with Employee Relations queries. As such we are looking for an extremely organised, accurate and articulate team player.


Key responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for ER queries via our telephone helpline and inbox
  • Advise on employee relations matters, guiding line managers through agreed processes and procedures, or in line with statutory requirements, to conclusion
  • Advising on a range of employee relations cases such as absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance procedures, including complex cases
  • Provide support in drafting letters across the lifecycle of the case, tailoring where necessary dependant on the individual circumstances
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients
  • Working on project such as writing, reviewing and assisting in implementing company policies and procedures
  • Uploading and updating the cases on our case management system, ensuring records are an up to date and accurate reflection of the case
  • Visit client sites where required, upholding the excellent reputation of the HR Advisory service and the expertise it provides
  • Keeping up-to-date with employment and case law at all times and practically applying your knowledge and sharing it with the team


To be successful in this role you will need strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to build relationships with senior external stakeholders and have demonstrable experience in a similar role. CIPD level 5 preferred.
