Carpenter Fitter

Chiawood Limited is a small independent business in South Wales specialising in creating bespoke furniture from design to installation. Working in domestic and commercial properties we create high-end pieces including wardrobes, understair storage, media walls and kitchens.We are recruiting an experienced carpenter to join our team.You will be expected to:Have 5+ years of experience in carpentry within a similar role (such as kitchen or wardrobe fitting)Have excellent attention to detail, a high standard of quality workmanship and the ability to problem-solveBe able to work as part of a team and independentlyRead and interpret technical drawings and designsWork with MDF, veneer, and other materialsBe skilled in joinery techniques and finishing methods as well as using woodworking tools and power toolsFull UK driving licence and the ability to drive a long wheel-based vanBe prepared to commute from the CF14 areaFlexible to occasionally travel to work elsewhere within the UK, including overnight stays (most jobs are within the South Wales area)Be reliable and efficient - working to tight deadlinesHave good customer service skills, maintaining profes...
