My client in Stratford-upon-Avon is a leading manufacturer and are recruiting for a maintenance engineer with experience in a manufacturing or process environment.

The role

• To ensure the safe operation of all the plant processes to ensure production targets are met
• To ensure all corrective maintenance is done according with the best practices.
• Doing planned and reactive maintenance according to the schedule
• To assist Lead and Process Technicians in the event of plant failure.
• To ensure stock of spares and fittings is kept
• To coordinate contractors performing maintenance or new projects in the plant

Key skills

• Knowledge and experience with planned and corrective maintenance
• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Root cause analysis and problem solving
• Background in a manufacturing or process environment
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering education from City and Guilds, Higher National Certificate level and above
