Contexte et environnement The Financial Controlling Manager is a pivotal member of the Finance team, supporting and overseeing the transactional and financial reporting of TUK in both SAP and SARUS systems. Ensuring the financial accounting and compliance requirements are carried out in an accurate and timely manner. It is important that the post holder is a diligent and an experienced technical finance professional. Ensuring effective use of IT tools, the Financial Reporting and Control manuals and the application of policies and procedures to ensure both UK and Group Sarbanes Oxley reporting compliance. Activités Overall management of the Financial Controlling team which is responsible for the preparing of individual business unit & consolidated monthly management accounts, annual and five-year budgeting and ad-hoc reporting to Group.Preparing monthly reporting and overseeing key monthly reconciliations.Ensure timely reporting of all deliverables to HO.Cost center monitoring, update, and allocation cycle updates on regular basis to ensure accurate reporting.Develop and maintain connection with HO support teams around management reporting.Maintaining the internal control framework, internal processes to manage risk, the Accounting policy and manual.Liaising with auditors / accountants to ensure compliance with accounting/ reporting regulations.Work collaboratively with wider teams across the business to ensure fit for purpose MI reporting.Work across the business units to understand the needs & design the reporting for key stakeholders and promote uniformity of reporting.Responsible for development projects primarily in support of Financial Analysis and tools used within the Financial Controlling team in TEMUK.Development and maintaining of Priority Accounting Controls relating to Finance in conjunction with the Internal Auditor.To promote tools and systems of work that provide support to General Managers regarding volumes, margins and delivery costs by way of monthly reports over varying timeframes including analysis of sales, margins and profitability by channel, customer and product and performance comparisons to budget.To promote tools and systems of work that distribute cost center reports to budget holders showing comparison to budget per month and YTD, investigating discrepancies where required.Regular forecast, budget and monthly account preparation for submission to Head Office finance teams. Profil du candidat The ideal candidate is educated to a degree level, has a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) and has a minimum of 5 years experiences at a management level.Good knowledge of the downstream sector of the Oil and Gas market and sound commercial judgment is desirable.Good communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of the organization also desirable.In addition, the candidate can ensure accurate and timely provision of management information from the Finance Team and supports the growth ambition of TUK business. The confidence and ability to make detailed presentations to personnel at all levels of the organization is also key.
