Responsible, Responsive, Resilient, and Respectful. We are currently recruiting for aScientific Assistantto join our Quality Control team . In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to support the ADQC department, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference. Your responsibilities in this role would be: To perform routine monitoring of controlled temperature units within ASG CL2 laboratories To raise engineering requests and to chaperone engineers whilst they are servicing/repairing analytical instruments. To generate and review equipment files for basic pieces of equipment to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards To clean and maintain the laboratory equipment and facilities To calibrate the pH meter and balance as required ready for analytical testing To operate the autoclave and dispose of waste materials as required To perform stock checks of consumables, media, solutions, buffers used by Scientists to ensure work activities are maintained. To assist the team to ensure the CL2 laboratory suites meet regulatory compliance To raise LMT work requests and assist LMT if required We are looking for: Level 2 - GCSE English and Maths Knowledge and understanding of efficient and effective laboratory working practices Ability to read, write legibly, and perform basic maths Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to challenge current practices and suggest new ideas Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate clearly with Scientists and Managers Organizational skills and service-oriented mindset Able to listen to instructions and follow them Demonstrate a willingness to learn Why Join Us?
