Private Chef – UHNW Family Countryside Based


We are proud to be working with a prestigious family who is looking for a dedicated and talented Private Chef.


The family lives in a beautiful large estate in the stunning British countryside, about 1.5 hours’ drive west of London which they visit several times a year for periods of up to a month.


They value culinary excellence and offers extensive opportunities for professional growth, including international training and stages.


Schedule: Full-time employment, with active service required approximately 3-4 months per year, including the entire month of August in Marbella, Spain.



For their hard work and commitment, the Private Chef will be rewarded with:


  • Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience and expectations).
  • Significant opportunities for professional development and training – stages abroad, International trainings etc.
  • Working in a newly refurbished, well-equipped kitchen.
  • Travel opportunities, including accompanying the family to their home in Marbella, Spain, during August.


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the principal, their family, and staff.
  • Create homely, delicious meals with a focus on simple, flavorful dishes rather than elaborate presentations.
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions, including no pork and severe nut and egg allergies.
  • Handle feedback and criticism from the principal, who is a food connoisseur.
  • Assist with planning and executing family gatherings and parties, which may require flexible working hours.
  • Collaborate with the family’s abroad-based Private Chef during family visits.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped kitchen.


Candidate Profile



  • Personality: Friendly, disciplined, tidy, and clean. Extremely flexible and adaptable to the family’s dynamic schedule.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a private household or similar environment, with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines.
  • Skills: Strong culinary skills with the ability to create homely, delicious meals. Ability to manage dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Feedback Management: Open to receiving feedback and capable of handling criticism professionally.
  • Professional Development: Eager to learn and grow, with opportunities for international training provided by the family.
