Financial Controller Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial controls and policies.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory laws and financial regulations.
  • Oversee year-end processes, audits, and tax returns in collaboration with external accountants.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to management and wider group.
  • Manage finance team resources, performance measures, and development, while ensuring compliance with group strategies.

Financial Controller Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualified Accountant ACCA or CIMA, or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in a Senior Management position.
  • Proficiency in Inventory Accounting and International Accounting.
  • Highly skilled in Statutory Accounts prep, report writing and presentation.
  • Ability to gain trust and influence outside of the finance department.
