IT Technician to be trained and skilled in IT technical support for branch offices

Client Details

Our client provides optimized, end-to-end supply chain management across the U.S. and around the world

Description

Manage Daily Back-ups ensuring tape cycle is maintained and backup tapes are rotated as per the Standards
Manage the stock of IT consumable items ensuring stock levels of toner are kept within a defined limit and ensuring used toners are disposed of in an ecological way.
Once trained to an acceptable level the employee will be expected to be scheduled to help on the IT helpdesk.
Works with other members of the IT team in maintaining the IT Hardware and software in the branch offices. This may require the employee to visit branch offices to resolve IT issues.

Profile

UK Driving Licence
A fundamental knowledge of IT hardware and Software would be helpful but not essential.
Communication and Organisation Skills.
Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting Ability.
Good level of interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel.
Implementation of Best Practice Standards
Desire to strive for continuing professional development.
Commitment to consistently high personal and Company standards.
